Approximately one-third of U.S. adults suffer from high blood pressure, which significantly increases the risk of cardiovascular disease. Engaging in cardio-respiratory exercise 3-7 days per week for at least 20-60 minutes per session has proven to be incredibly effective at reducing high blood pressure, and you don’t necessarily need to torture yourself on the treadmill to do it! Find something you love such as hiking, swimming, or biking. Anything that gets your heart pumping!
