RPI and Capital EAP partner to promote World-Class Organizational Development

Capital EAP is proud to announce a new partnership with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) to offer world-class Organizational Development Services as a component of its member training program.

Developed in partnership with Rensselaer’s Archer Center for Student Leadership Development and the Lally School of Management and Technology, the new program is delivered by certified trainers at Rensselaer’s Division of Human Resources. The partnership with Rensselaer expands on Capital EAP’s commitment to provide services that improve the professional skills of Capital EAP members and the companies they work for.

This program is ideal for any Capital EAP member-organization seeking to improve key success processes across their entire organization, but is also open to individuals seeking to acquire success-critical professional skills. Though this partnership, Capital EAP member organizations located in the Capital Region can cost-effectively access professional development programs and training services, and equip their employees with the tools that will help make them and their companies more successful.

Session delivery is available through both live and virtual classroom, and utilizes recognized best-methods for adult learning to maximize skills acquisition and mastery. The curriculum focuses on developing skills and improving outcomes across important business functions, including:

  • Professional Prospecting and Selling skills including coaching, negotiating and presentation in multiple selling environments
  • Leadership skills including team coaching, driving productivity, maximizing performance, supervisory skills and qualities of leadership
  • Needs-based Coaching
  • Customer Service, customer relations and selling through superior service
  • Employee Effectiveness skills including communications, leveraging team make-up, problem solving and managing interpersonal/ attitudinal / emotional concepts

Many programs may be customized to fit specific organizational objectives and to address budgetary constraints.
